There are six products in the Image Clear Cell line, including three salicylic daily cleansers, a medicated masque and medicated facial scrub, and a post cleansing lotion.
Clear Cell Salicylic Gel Cleanser
This foaming gel cleanser gently removes toxins, makeup and eliminates excess oil and build-up. When you apply a small amount of gel to wet skin, the cleanser forms a rich lather and gently exfoliates dead skin cells. We recommend using it with your Clarisonic Cleansing System. Massage the cleanser over face or body for 30 seconds before rinsing. This BHA foaming gel cleanser adds essential anti-oxidents to your skin at the same time it’s purifying your skin from excess oil and environmental toxins. Your skin will be smooth, soft and shine free. This acne facial cleanser is ideal for oily-acne prone skin and teenagers. Use twice daily, in the morning and evening. Key ingredients are Salicylic Acid which is a BHA exfoliator, Ammonium Laurel Sulfate as a surfactant/sudsing agent (less irritating than the common sodium laurel sulfate), Arnica Montana and Horse Chestnut which are anti-inflammatory, and anti-microbial Tea Tree Oil.
Clear Cell Salicylic Clarifying Tonic
Clear Cell Salicylic Acid Clarifying Tonic gently removes excess oil and bacteria while refreshing the skin with essential herbal extracts of Green Tea, Tea Tree & Ivy. Saturate a cotton pad and gently clarify the entire face both morning and evening. Oily and acne prone skin will see great improvements from this anti-aging formula which refreshes the skin with essential herbal extracts. This is a great product to throw in your travel bag for those times you need quick easy cleansing. It can be used throughout the day as needed for oil control. Key ingredients are a blend of Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid for AHA/BHA exfoliation, Witch Hazel for its anti-septic and anti-inflammatory properties, Arnica Montana, another anti-inflammatory, and anti microbial Tea Tree.
Clear Cell Salicylic Clarifying Pads
Also great for on the go skin care are the Clear Cell Salicylic Clarifying Pads. This salicylic and glycolic acid skin pad effectively clears clogged pores and follicles to leave skin fresh and clean by removing excess oil and impurities. A blend of anti-oxidants and calming ingredients reduce acneic inflammation. Keep some in your gym bag for after workout cleansings and in your purse for on the road cleansing. One pad at a time is all you need. Apply by gently rubbing on entire face or affected areas. Key ingredients are a blend of Salicylic Acid and Glycolic Acid for AHA/BHA exfoliation, Allantoin to sooth and calm the skin, and Tea tree leaf for its anti-microbial properties.
Clear Cell Medicated Acne Lotion
This soothing acne lotion immediately kills bacteria with Benzoyl Peroxide and then soothes and heals with Chamomile, Lavender and Tea Tree. You will quickly notice a fading of visible redness of current acne lesions. Massage a small amount of acne lotion to cleansed skin morning and evening and use as a spot treatment as needed. Note: May lighten fabric color. This daily hydration lotion retards oil production and evens skin tone. Key ingredients also include the natural skin lightener Licorice Root, Mallow Extract and Arnica Montana for soothing anti-inflamatory benefits, Peppermint leaf which reduces redness and the antimicrobial Tea Tree.
Clear Cell Medicated Acne Masque
You can eliminate the toughest acne lesions in just one application with this aggressive blend of Salicylic and Glycolic acids! Upon application it quickly draws out impurities that clog the pores and lead to red acne lesions. Sulfur reduces redness and dries up lesions overnight. Clear Cell Medicated Acne Masque can also be used as a spot treatment. Unlike other products in the Clear Cell Line, the Acne Masque should not be used daily. One to three applications a week is ideal, with the product remaining on the face for 5-15 minutes each application. Rinse away with cool water, followed by a cold splash to close and tighten pores. Do not leave on overnight. Salicylic and Glycolic Acids exfoliate. Green tea, mallow and manuka blends add vital nutrients to dehydrated oily/acne prone skin. China Clay absorbs all excess oils. Hyaluronic Acid hydrates by binding 1000x in water. Peppermint leaf reduces redness and Rosemary promotes wound healing.
Clear Cell Medicated Acne Facial Scrub
Use this Sea Salt and Benzoyl Peroxide cleansing scrub to kill bacteria and exfoliate dead skin cells. Oils that clog pores will be scrubbed away with micro exfoliant beads, leaving skin looking refreshed and renewed. This scrub is excellent for back acne and ideal for acne and acne prone skin. It only takes a small amount, gently massaged into the skin for one minute for a fresh, shine free finish. Rinse off with cool water. Stronger than the other cleansers, this can still be used daily, both morning and evening. Benzoyl Peroxide serves as an anti-bacterial and Micro-Exfoliant Beads slough off dead skin cells. Comfrey Root is soothing to irritated skin. Arnica Montana and Horse Chestnut are both Anti-inflammatory ingredients.
And, DON’T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!
For daytime use, after cleansing and moisturizing with the Clear Cell Products, it is essential to use a full-spectrum sunscreen for daytime. Image’s Daily Defense Matte Moisturizer SPF30 compliments the Clear Cell Line to fight sun damage and aging. This new generation, oil-free, pure physical broad spectrum UVA/UVB moisturizer incorporates micro-sponge technology to absorb skins surface oils, leaving skin with a matte, non greasy shine free finish. Matte Moisturizer SPF 30 contains potent anti-oxidant thiotaine, as well as free radical scavengers to protect against environmental exposures. The non-greasy formula is ideal for oily and acne prone skin and leaves a matte, shine free finish. It is an excellent make-up base and is both paraben and chemical free.
