Quick treatments with minimal downtime are a growing trend in the field of cosmetic surgery. Dr. Wortham performs injections of various fillers and neurotoxins dozens of time a week in our Lynnwood office. The difference between a normal fill and a liquid facelift is not well defined, as the amount of filler needed varies by age and need. Women in their early thirties may only require a single syringe for correction, while others may require several syringes for improvement of the forehead, periorbital, cheek, and perioral regions; these treatments can be completed in under an hour with little to no downtime. Radiesse, Restylane, Belotero, Perlane, Sculptra, Artefill, Dysport, Botox, and Xeomin are our preferred options. The downside of these treatments are that the effects diminish over the course of a year. Artefill and autologous fat transfer with platelet rich plasma are options for longer lasting results.
